This short clip touches on Penny Easter's first speech in her campaign for the Nebraska governorship. To set a powerful and hopeful tone with an undertone of unease in order to telegraph Penny’s status as an influential and somewhat fear-inducing political figure , I've layered several  famous political speeches together. During the scene, her speech is delivered with a live handheld mic. At the end of the scene, the crowd begins chanting "FFF" - Penny's slogan, "Freedom From Fear." The show then transitions to Jeffery's living room, where he sits in horror watching the speech on TV.
